Hello all,

first of all, there is a thread exactly like this one in GWOforums, but since there are not many replies, and because I intend to get as much as players as I can get in this game, I decided to post here too.
Second of all, Id like to apologize for some of grammar mistakes you might encourter further in this text. English isnt my primary language, so dont get mad :sunny:

anyway,

every Friday at 17:00 +- 10 minutes (GMT +1) Im organizing trivia that is being held in Kamadan, America District 2.

How Its being played?

I normally stand on bridge, and I pop a question. Question can be GW oriented, life oriented, sport, music, etc. but something that is not hard at all.

Some questions that were last times were:

What nationality was Chopin? Polish
If you were in Istan, what town is jewel of it? Kamadan
Which is the most spoken language? Chinese
Name of expansion in Guild Wars (full name!)? Eye of the north
Number of expansion in Guild Wars? 1
Did Neil Armstrong put his left or his right foot on the moon first? Left

etc. etc.

Btw, grammar things should be obligated to follow in these trivia, but it only occurs at FULL NAME, i mean, you cant say Eye of the nothr , need to say north!...and i dont care about lower or bigger letter...just name need to be correct :cloud9:

Last week rewards were 1 ecto per right answer. From this week it will be 3-5k, did not decide, it depends on..will decide on Friday...

Anyway, my plan was to held this trivia until Guild Wars 2 come out, but we all know how Anet plays us :wave:

So I hope Ill have cash to do it...so far got around 3-4 millions, dont know for sure, but I might get more if we start to get low after few months

If you have any question, anything, either ask in this thread or ask me in game.

EDIT:

This week there will be more life oriented questions, because its not that easy (it is if you just think). This is just to make it more interest, and to eliminate those fast typers

..though there will be some GW questions too

actually, some people hang out there because it's less crowded than d1. and generally more pleasant.

Anyway,

Great competition, though - the community needs as much of this sort of thing as it can get.

Reason why It`s in Kamadan AE2 lies in that I was one friday chilling at work when I was like..damn, this game need some better class of idle man in this game, and then I was like..OK, trivia time! Explained rules, started popping questions and I was giving 1 ecto for right answer...you know then people went mad and whoole Kamadan was like playing trivia. Btw, you can get to AE2 without problem..

Best questions are when its some number, then you see full chat goes like : 31 451 124 124 5 235 32 52 353 25 325 23 52

Anyway, usually around 17:00 + 10 minutes (if not enough people are in), ...after few questions more and more join (free money, yay!)...

Hope you guys/girls will come...

I ask around 40-70 questions, depends on how much people are playing

Ok, for clarity.

GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) is the old-but-still-used world time standard based on the time on the zero meridian that runs through Greenwich in London, UK. It is generally analogous with the now-standard UCT (Co-ordinated Universal Time, initials shuffled so as not to annoy the French.)

So, everywhere in the world is either GMT +something or -something.

EST (Eastern) is GMT -5
CST (Central) is GMT -6
MST (Mountain) is GMT -7
PST (Pacific) is GMT -8

An example: If you're in Washington DC (EST, so GMT -5) 17:00 at GMT +1 translates as 11:00 EST, capiche?
